Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre is located less than a mile from junction 30 of the M1 (Follow signs to ‘Dobbies Garden World’). We are only an hour from Lincoln and Grantham just off the A57/A1.
Chesterfield Station is a 20 minute taxi ride away, or there is plenty of free on-site parking at the treatment centre.
Parking on-site is available to all patients and visitors, free of charge.
We have free Wi-Fi access for patients and visitors.
I have a visual, hearing or mobility problem, what do I do?
All areas of our treatment centre are accessible to wheelchair users.
Our patient information is available in a range of languages and in large print on request.
I need an interpreter or signer, what do I do?
We have an interpretation service available to support you if English is not your preferred language.
Please let a member of our booking team know prior to your appointment if you have any special requirements.
There is an on-site café for visitors and our catering team prepare meals daily for our patients, visitors and staff.
Please note, the Coffee Shop is not open during the weekend but there are vending machines for hot and cold drinks, crisps and chocolate.
Alternatively, Dobbies Garden Centre just behind the Hospital has a café that is open all day if you are looking for something a little more substantial.
Visiting hours are from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Visiting outside of these times may be permitted with agreement from the ward manager, so please just ask if you need us to try and arrange a more flexible visit.
If you’re staying with us, you’ll be in either a single en-suite room or a same-sex shared en-suite room depending on your preference – subject to availability. This is part of our commitment to patient dignity, and helps ensure a more comfortable and relaxed stay.
